Personalized Approach
Integra’s approach to each project is a unique one – no two projects are ever the same – and our team is highly engaged at every stage. You will have a dedicated project manager who will take ownership of the execution of your project, but all of our team members meet weekly to discuss all aspects of the project from equipment cleanup and setup, to marketing photos and campaign execution, to removal procedures and rigging contractors. As corny and cliche as it may sound, our team cares and takes pride in delivering a positive experience for both our clients and buyers. Rest assured, regardless if you are part of a Fortune 500 company or a small manufacturing shop, we will treat your project with the utmost respect, professionalism, and engagement.

Success StoriesEverything went smoothly and everything was completed as agreed. It was great working with your company on this.
QUALIFICATION
The process begins with an initial phone conversation to learn about you and understand your needs. Integra can assist with a:
-
Complete liquidation of all your machinery and equipment
-
Surplus disposition of select group of assets while continuing ongoing operations
-
Turnkey offering of your entire facility, including real estate, potential contracts, and available workforce.
If you have an asset list available, we will ask you to provide it in an effort to gauge the initial scope and valuation of the proposed project. If not, we will work with you to determine this earliest assessment.
Once the introductory assessments are complete, we will schedule a visit to your facility to meet with you to further understand your needs and expectations and perform a detailed walk through of the plant. At this time, we may also take several photos of high-value assets, so that if the decision is made to proceed with the project, we will be able to publish the information on our website and begin preliminary marketing efforts right away.
INITIATION
Within a week of the site visit, we will prepare and deliver a comprehensive proposal to your team. This digital proposal will outline the financial structure, project timeline, type of sale process, and marketing strategy for your review. Based on the assets for sale and current market factors, we will recommend either a live webcast auction (with auctioneer), timed online only auction (without auctioneer), or private treaty sale (privately negotiated sale efforts). Depending on the suggested fee structure, an estimated revenue projection may be provided to you. All valuations and projections are made based on current market conditions and therefore are time-sensitive. After decades of completed auction events and years of sales data, our team is highly confident in our valuations.
-
Fee We will act as a commissioned service provider
-
Guarantee We will guarantee a specific monetary outcome, sharing the upside
-
Buy We can make an outright purchase of all available assets
Once you review the proposal and decide to move forward with the project, we will execute a mutually agreed upon contract and proceed to the execution phase – which is what we do best: delivering the highest value for your assets.
EXECUTION
Integra is the best in the business when it comes to presenting your assets in the most desirable and attractive way, yielding maximum results at auction. “How?”, you ask. Our meticulous and efficient setup team will work on the back end to clean, organize, write-up, and photograph all of your machinery and equipment. Our hyper-creative and detail-oriented marketing team will prepare marketing materials with featured lists and photos to showcase the auction in the most aesthetically pleasing way as to engage the largest possible audience. Our dedicated customer service team will answer any questions or concerns that buyers may have, facilitating a user-friendly and positive experience for auction participants. We use industry-leading bidding and payment collection software allowing us to collect funds in a streamlined and expeditious manner. Finally, our setup team will diligently supervise asset removal from your facility ensuring a smooth and easy transition.
All initial machinery and equipment write-ups and images are redone to a higher standard. We get rid of clutter and debris around the equipment and re-photograph for a much more aesthetically pleasing presentation. All machinery specifications are collected for our online catalog to be presented to potential buyers. Buyers appreciate a great amount of detail, and Integra is dedicated to providing our buyers with the best possible experience. This results in a larger pool of interested parties, and thus, yields a much higher value for the sale of your assets. This strategically organized lot catalog will be uploaded to our website and select online marketplaces as deemed appropriate for those asset types.
A comprehensive, industry-specific, and asset-targeted marketing plan will be prepared within the proposed budget. Each marketing plan is tailored to the project based on several factors we believe will produce the best outcome. When appropriate, we utilize various form of digital and traditional means of advertising, such as:
-
Email, E-newsletter & Banner Advertising – targeting subscribers of relevant trade journals or associations
-
Cost-per-click – Keyword targeted paid advertising campaigns on Google and LinkedIn
-
Direct Mail – Depending on the audience we are wanting to reach, direct mail may be an ideal way to promote the sale.
-
Video – if possible, we will gather videos of high-value assets in operation to promote on our website and in digital marketing.
-
Social Media – Advertisements targeted to audiences that meet specified criteria for individuals most likely to be interested in the equipment available at the sale
-
Classified Listings – Select assets will be listed on buyer-trusted directories
Taking into account the type, quantity and location of the assets, current market conditions, the competitive landscape, project scope and timing, we will execute the most appropriate liquidation event. This means a live webcast and onsite auction, live online only auction, timed online only auction, a privately negotiated sale, a turnkey opportunity, or any combination of these.
-
Live Webcast and Onsite Auction This type of auction is hosted at a specific location. Usually at the facility that contains the assets that will be sold at the event. Participants are invited to bid in person with an auctioneer at the stand. System operators are onsite broadcasting this event online and allowing bidders to also participate remotely. Ultimately, interested parties can decide if they prefer to bid onsite or online.
-
Live Online Only Auctions Live online only auctions are similar to the live webcast auctions because they both are led by an auctioneer; however, the auctioneer is at a remote location broadcasting audio for interested parties to participate online. There is no onsite bidding; all participants must bid remotely.
-
Timed Online Only Auctions There is no auctioneer present for this type of auction. The auction proceeds with specific closing times scheduled for each individual lot. When someone bids within the last 5 minutes, the bidding time is extended. This ensures that all interested parties have an opportunity to bid, and that the maximum value for each lot is achieved. There is no audio stream associated with this type of sale. All bidding takes place online.
-
Hybrid Sale Events Every liquidation is unique and we do not offer our clients a cookie cutter solution. Depending on the scope of the project and/or the asset class, we may execute several different sale events that include multi-day timed auctions, live webcast auctions, and privately negotiated sales. This type of hybrid approach is best served for clients with multiple facilities or equipment in distinct asset categories.
-
Privately Negotiated Sales Sometimes the specific asset class is best served as a privately negotiated sale. This means, there is no auction. Our team will market the sale of the assets but interested parties are asked to contact us directly. This allows detailed conversations to take place as may be dictated by the complexities of the liquidation.
-
Facility Turnkey Opportunities In the case that machinery and equipment as well as real estate is available for sale, it may be best to go to market with a turnkey opportunity. Oftentimes, this helps preserve the local workforce and may be more attractive to a potential client if existing contracts or supply chain opportunities are available. This may or may not include intellectual property, completed inventory, work in process, raw materials, accounts receivable, existing contracts, or other asset classes that would allow a potential buyer to step in and continue operations.
DELIVERY
At the conclusion of the auction event, our staff will send out invoices for payments for all the assets that sold. Invoices will include all applicable sales, use, and other taxes due to any federal, state, or local taxing authority. To receive the benefit of any tax exemption, the buyer must supply Integra with a properly completed sales tax exemption certificate that is accepted by the state in which the auction is taking place. Integra pays all applicable taxes from this sale event to the state authority.
Buyers are not permitted to remove assets prior to making a complete payment. Removal of the assets will be completed in the agreed upon time frame by insured and industry-recognized rigging companies that we have contracted for the project. Removal is supervised by our staff to ensure proper care and to prevent theft to the best of our abilities.
Our team works diligently to bring the building back to an acceptable cleanliness level by either the client or leasing company. We may work with external contractors if electrical rewiring is needed or there are environmental protocols that need to be followed to remove hazardous fluids or materials.
Once all payments have been collected and assets removed, Integra will prepare a financial report detailing the executed project. At which point, we will make the final payment to you.
